Youth Counselling centre
Noorte nõustamiskeskusesse võid tulla üksi või sõbraga, helistada või kohale tulla, nõustamine on Sulle tasuta.
It is not easy being young.
Sometimes you don’t know who you really are or where you belong in this world. Relationships are complicated, sexuality is a little scary and your emotions are all over the place.
Youth counselling is intended for children, teenagers and young adults up to the age of 26 (included). The service is free of charge, whether or not they have health insurance.
A youth counsellor is a specialist (a midwife or doctor), who has received training specifically for working with young people.
Please feel free to get in contact if you have any questions, concerns or simply want more information. Our counsellors are here to support you – they will listen, offer guidance and help you find solutions. The consultation focuses on the particular issue, where the need for advice or support is greatest. There are no taboo subjects.
Youth counselling offers support, services and advice on a range of topics, such as:
- sexual health and behaviour
- sexual identity
- close relationships
- diagnosis (analyses) and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)
- advice on choosing a method of contraception or prescription renewal
- diagnosis of pregnancy and consultation
- counselling for unintended pregnancy
- consultation for young men, blood and urine tests if necessary (the youth counsellor does not carry out the examination)
- topics related to sexual violence. We provide support if you have been subjected to violence or sexual abuse
- support for mental and emotional wellbeing (mental health, crisis counselling during pregnancy)
- when you’re having psychological or social problems and are unsure of where to seek help
