Massage therapy focuses on the client’s/patient’s musculoskeletal system but also on other biological systems (digestive tract, respiratory organs, cardiovascular organs, etc.), ensuring their functionality. As a result of massage therapy, the body undergoes physiological and functional changes. Indications are muscle strain, skeletal-muscular system disorders (e.g. incorrect posture, excessive muscle tension on one side of the body), tension headaches, slowed intestinal peristalsis, immune system weakness, fatigue, stress and depression.
