Health certificate on communicable diseases

As provided by paragraph 13 of the Communicable Diseases Prevention and Control Act, family physicians shall conduct initial and additional examinations for communicable diseases depending on the results of risk assessment during the employment relationship for the following employees:

* Persons who have suffered from typhoid, paratyphoid, shigellosis or salmonella may work if, after recovering, at least two bacteriological tests confirm the absence of bacteria.

School pupils, students and employees undergoing practical training or in-service training in the fields of activity listed above Health examinations are carried out according to the requirements of the profession.

Medical examinations are carried out based on the health declaration of health status filled in by the applicant for the health certificate.

To carry out the medical examination book a visit to your family nurse through the Internet or call the reception office by phone at +372 605 0601. Upon registration on the Internet, select “Obtain a certificate” as the reason for the visit. The medical certificate is paid by the client.

A medical certificate is not the same as an occupational health doctor’s medical examination certificate and does not replace it.
