To apply for a medical certificate for a weapons permit, please register for a visit to your family doctor at the reception office, by phone at 605 0601 or via the Internet.

Family physicians assess the physical capability of an applicant to handle a weapon and involve medical experts in their assessment if needed. Required psychiatrist certificate.

• Medical examination by a family physician – €25

NB! The medical examination must be paid even if the visit reveals medical contraindications to obtaining a weapons permit! In the case of a negative decision, the medical examination fee is not paid back.
